2006/2007 RYE Student from Harare, Zimbabwe

Tafadzwa (Taf) Chihanga joined our Rotary Youth Exchange family in February 2006.
She comes from Harare, Zimbabwe and is living in Galloway Township
while she attends Absegami High School.

Summer 2005 - Short Term Exchange With France

Jenna Kopke, a student from Absegami High School, was in Yutz, France
for the month of July 2005. She stayed with the family of Pauline Greff. (RYE 2003/2004)
Pierre Greff returned with Jenna to the USA, where he stayed for the month of August.
This is the first short term exchange for the ACRC. Pierre recently completed a full year as an exchange student. He stayed in Dallas, TX. He will now attend college in France. In August of 2007, Jenna is scheduled to begin college at Earlham College, in Richmond, Indiana

2004/2005 Inbound from Waterloo, Belgium
Valerie de Wilde came from Waterloo Belgium.
She attended Absegami High School in Galloway Township.
Her Counselor was Joseph Neidinger III. We miss Valerie's always present smile.
2004/2005 Outbound to Austria

Donald Sheer (center) is pictured with Jack Kammer (L), Asst. District Governor & Rotary Youth Exchange Outbound Coordinator and Joel Kopke (R), Atlantic City Rotarian and Member of the District Youth Exchanage Committee. At this meeting of the Atlantic City Rotary Club, Donald found out he was going to Austria for the academic high school year, 2004/2005.
Donald is now attending Richard Stockton College.
2003 / 2004 Rotary Youth Exchange Students from Germany and France

June 2004 - Fabin Lippert from Germany lived with two host families during the year.
The Rev Bob Higgs and his family in Ventonor were the first to host Fabian.
Later Fabian moved to the Ventnor home of Susan and Howard Wilson.
Fabin's counselors during the 2003 / 2004 year were Scott Lovitv and Joe Neidinger.
Fabian attended Atlantic City High School.
July 2005 - Pauline Greff came from Yutz, France. Pauline has now completed her undergraduate degree in languages and management. She is now studying for a Masters degree.
2001/2002 RYE Student From Lippstadt, Germany

Anke Finkeldei joined our RYE family in August 2001.
She stayed with two families in Galloway Township, NJ, while attending Absegami High School.
Anke is now in medical school and engaged to be married. Her future husband is a Police Officer

Former Exchange Students Meet Each Other In Paris

During the summer of 2004 we had the opportunity to introduce our first exchange student with our second. Adeline (1997/1998) from France lives in Paris and Wan (1998/1999) from Thailand who is studing for a masters degree in business at a London university. Adeline is also working toward her degree and is involved in an internship in international marketing. They met in Paris and had this picture taken after dinner near a sidewalk cafe.
Adeline Tetard Has a Family

During the school year 1998/1999, our club hosted our first Rotary Youth Exchange student, a young lady from Lille, France. On, October 31, 2004 Adeline married Sas. She and her husband have a lovely daughter, "Baby Alice". Congratulations from the Atlantic City Rotary Club.
Wan is in Business with Her Mom

Wan our exchange student (98/99) from Lop Buri, Thailand, recently graduated from
Brunel University in London. She earned a Master of Scince degre in Marketing.
Wan is now working with her mother in business, helping to manage a Gold Store.
In September 2007, Wan got married and has moved to Bangkok, Thailand.
