One of the best ways to lose the weight you want to lose fairly quickly is to go on one of the vegetarian diets. You have probably tried several other non-vegetarian ones and have had no luck or very little success. So, what is in a vegetarian diet?
There are four categories of food in the vegetarian diet: Grains, Fruits, Veggies, and Legumes. What is in each one of these and why are they important?
Grains: The refined ones are no good for you in losing weight! Stick with the diet plans whole grains: couscous, oats, millet, brown rice, and the like. They are filling and keep your blood glucose normal.
Fruits and Veggies: These are a wonderful source of vitamins and antioxidants that will assist you in fighting diseases; almost all of them are low in calories and they are an easy way to be flexible at any mealtime.
Legumes: Beans, seeds and nuts. The seeds include such things as sunflower and hemp seeds in their bunch. They are packed with healthy fats and they stave off hunger!
